Ingredients for making rose syrup
Fresh rose leaves – 1 cup
Beetroot – 1
Basil leaves – 15-20
Mint leaves – 1 tbsp
Coriander chopped – 1 tbsp
Cardamom – 5-6
Lemon – 2
Sugar – 1 kg

How to make rose syrup
To make rose syrup, first put rose leaves in water and wash them thoroughly. Now put a cup of water in the vessel and boil it and turn off the gas. Wait for the water to get slightly warm. Now put rose petals and lukewarm water in the mixer jar and grind them well. Now filter the ground rose petals with the help of a strainer and take out the rose juice in a bowl and keep it aside.
Now cut the beetroot into pieces and put it in the mixer jar. Now put coriander leaves, basil leaves, mint leaves in the jar and grind everything finely. Now take out the ground mixture in a utensil and add a cup of water to it. Now put this mixture on the gas to boil. Let the mixture boil on low flame. When it starts boiling, turn off the gas and wait for the mixture to cool down.

When the mixture cools down, filter it in a bowl with the help of a sieve. Now put more than half a kilo of sugar in a vessel, mix one cup of water and keep it for boiling. Cook it until the sugar dissolves in water and becomes syrup. After this, turn off the gas and let the syrup cool down. After this, mix cardamom seeds in the remaining sugar and grind it. Then cut the lemon and extract its juice in a bowl.
Now add beetroot juice, rose petal juice and lemon juice to the sugar syrup and mix well. After this, put powdered sugar in the sugar syrup. After mixing all the ingredients well, keep the sherbet covered for 5-6 hours. Gulab syrup is ready. Whenever you want to make it, add 2 tbsp of rose syrup in a glass of cold water and serve after adding 1-2 ice cubes.
